Perfect Wedding Hair

It is one of those years:  The Year of the Weddings.  It seems like everyone who I am close to and is important in my life is getting hitched this year and that means I have to figure out how to streamline my wedding experiences.  I’m in three of the weddings so I will need to make sure my hair looks good but since I have so many weddings to go to, I’m not going to be able to afford getting my hair professionally done for every event.  So instead, I’m investing in professional curling irons in a few different barrel sizes so that I can create beautiful hairstyles on my own.  The best part about buying the professional curling irons (and a few CHI hair products) is that then I’ll have them long after the weddings have ended.  Who knows, they might outlast a few of the marriages.  I’m kidding!! I hope not!

I know what my go-to style is going to be.  This picture of Natalie Portman’s hair is exactly the kind of updo that will work for any wedding.  My hair is already naturally wavy so I’ll just let it air dry and then I’ll define the curls with a professional curling iron.  Then I’ll create a deep side part and then pin it all up off of my neck.  This is one of those styles that doesn’t have to be perfect and a little imperfection actually adds to the beauty.
